Traveling with Your Own Captain
If you prefer to travel with your own captain, you must share their Log Book, necessary documents, and references with us. This information is crucial for us to assess your captain’s experience and suitability for the boat you are renting. This way, we ensure that both you and your guests have the best experience possible.
If you want to hire a boat without a captain you can hire any boat you wish except for the Blue Angel Tanna 47 model, as long as they have the necessary documents and references.
To hire a boat from Lovesail with your own captain you must have the following licenses:
Skipper License: A valid skipper license is mandatory for hiring any of our yachts.
Additionally, we require you to provide a Log Book that details your previous sailing experience. If you cannot provide a Log Book, we ask that you send us a CV that includes the following details:
- The boats you have previously hired.
- The agents or companies you worked with.
- The duration of your yacht rentals. (number of days)
- The locations where you sailed.
- These details help us ensure that you have the necessary experience to safely and confidently handle our yachts.
Captain Fees
