However, if you want to rent a boat without a captain, our company will request some documents from you and information about your past experiences. If you have experience, it is very important that you inform our company before renting.
After reviewing your documents, a referral will be made to our company’s competence regarding renting a boat with or without a captain. If you are not qualified to use a boat, it may be recommended that you take the captain and crew with you. The main purpose of these procedures is to ensure your safety.

“The transitlog, known as the “Turkish Ports Yacht Registration Document”, is a necessary permit document for foreign flagged boats to enter and exit Turkish territorial waters and ports. Yachts entering or leaving Turkey must obtain this document at the border gates. The validity period of the transitlog document is one year and it must be kept on the boat. It is mandatory to submit this document when requested by the authorities.
Private Boats: If a boat has a Special Boat Certificate (SBC), it is only necessary to obtain a transitlog certificate when departing abroad. There is no need to obtain this document while cruising in Turkish territorial waters.
Commercial Boats: It is mandatory for all commercial boats to obtain a transitlog certificate. It is necessary to obtain a new transitlog document for flights to be made outside the port or abroad. Boats belonging to charter enterprises are obliged to renew this document every time the contract is changed. Passengers who are not mentioned in the transitlog document cannot be found on the boat.
